I abruptly stopped in my tracks, shocked by what I saw. I did not recognize one thing about the woman staring back at me. She appeared lifeless, a shell of a woman. No color, no vibrancy, no energy, no enthusiasm. She looked hollow and depleted, with ashen skin, lackluster hair, swallowed up by an oversized frumpy sweater.

Who was this woman? Where was her sparkle? How did she get here? How had she drifted so far from her truth? It was an incredibly defining moment as I looked in the mirror. The same mirror I had looked in a thousand other times.

Why was this moment different? I have no idea, but I knew with complete clarity that things had to change and they had to change now! I had to find her, the woman within me. The woman I knew I could be. The woman I desired to be. It was time to discover who she was and give her the freedom she was craving. It was time to truly feel alive. It was time to step into my truth!
